On Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the hardest kind of courage. It asks us to unclench our fists when anger feels justified. Paul wrote, “Get rid of all bitterness… forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32)To forgive isn’t to forget or excuse—it’s to release.
