Integrity is righteousness without a spotlight. It’s the quiet courage to live the same story in private that we preach in public. David prayed, “Search me, O God… point out anything in me that offends you.” (Psalm 139:23-24). Integrity starts with that kind of openness—an inner life aligned with God, not with approval.

Proverbs teaches that the integrity of the upright guides them (Proverbs 11:3). Integrity doesn’t bend to convenience or shift with the room. It anchors us when pressure rises and whispers, “Walk straight,” when shortcuts look tempting.

Righteousness echoes loudest through the choices no one sees. When the church chooses truth in the quiet spaces, it gains credibility in the noisy ones. Integrity is what keeps our witness from cracking under the weight of our words.
