Reconciliation is righteousness in motion. Jesus said if you remember someone has something against you, go and be reconciled before you bring your gift to the altar (Matthew 5:23-24). He didn’t say wait for them to move first—He said love takes the first step.

Paul writes that God has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). Not the ministry of avoidance, nor the ministry of pretending everything is fine—but the holy work of repairing what sin, pride, fear, and silence have torn.

Reconciliation doesn’t erase the past; it heals its power. And every time we choose connection over contempt, humility over hostility, and courage over comfort, we echo the God who keeps stitching broken people back together.

Reconciliation is righteousness in motion. Jesus said to pursue peace before the altar—love moves first. God entrusted us with the ministry of restoring what brokenness tried to steal. (Matthew 5:23-24 / 2 Corinthians 5:18)
